Import your TV Time account

TV Time is shutting down on July 15

TV Time is closing down on July 15. Request your data now and import it into BetaSeries before it shuts down.

Automatic import available

You can now import your TV Time archive straight from your BetaSeries account, without contacting support. The full process is below.

To import your TV Time history, you first need to request a data export from TV Time (GDPR request), then send us the file you receive through your BetaSeries account.

Shows only

TV Time doesn't track movies in its product, so the GDPR archive only contains your shows and watched episodes — no movies.

Step 1 — Request your data from TV Time

Two options.

Option A — Self-service portal (fastest)

  1. Go to gdpr.tvtime.com/gdpr/self-service.
  2. Log in with your TV Time email and password.
  3. Request your data: the download link is generated automatically. You can grab your archive right away, with no need to wait for an email.

Option B — By email

Email support@tvtime.com from the address linked to your TV Time account, with:

  • Subject: GDPR Data Request
  • Message:

Hi, I would like to receive a copy of my data according to GDPR laws.

Step 2 — Get your file

With the portal (Option A), your .zip file is available to download right away. With the email method (Option B), TV Time replies within ~7 days with the download link.

Password

Most archives are no longer password-protected. If yours is (older archives), TV Time also provided the password — keep it handy.

Step 3 — Import into BetaSeries

  1. Go to your Account → TV Time.
  2. In the TV Time (ZIP import) section, pick the .zip file downloaded from TV Time.
  3. If your archive is password-protected, enter the password; otherwise leave the field empty.
  4. Click Import.

The import runs in the background and can take a few minutes depending on the archive size. You'll get a confirmation email once it's done, with a summary of shows added and episodes marked as watched. 🎉
