Import your TV Time archive
TV Time has shut down
TV Time closed down on July 15. It is therefore no longer possible to request a data export from TV Time (the GDPR portal and support@tvtime.com no longer respond).
If you downloaded your TV Time archive (.zip file) before the shutdown, you can still import it straight from your BetaSeries account, without contacting support.
Shows, movies and ratings
Your archive imports your shows and watched episodes, your movies, and your ratings for movies and episodes.
Can't find your file?
Look for a .zip file with "tvtime" or "gdpr" in its name in your Downloads folder, or in the email TV Time sent you (the download link may have expired since). If you already imported it into BetaSeries, no need to do it again: we keep your archive, and the "Replay import with the same archive" button on the TV Time page lets you run the import again without re-uploading it.
Import your archive into BetaSeries
- Go to My account → External services → TV Time.
- In the Import your TV Time account from a ZIP file section, pick the .zip file downloaded from TV Time.
- If your archive is password-protected (older archives — TV Time gave you the password), enter it; otherwise leave the field empty.
- Click Start the import.
The import runs in the background and can take a few minutes depending on the archive size and the volume of imports being processed. The TV Time page shows your approximate queue position live along with an estimated time remaining. You can leave the page, the import keeps running in the background. Once it's done, the page shows a summary and you get a confirmation email listing the shows, watched episodes and movies imported. 🎉
We keep your archive
We keep your .zip file on our servers. Some of the data it contains isn't imported yet: we'll be able to re-import it automatically later, with nothing needed from you. We'll keep you posted once that's done.
