How to sync my account with Netflix?
To link your Netflix account to your BetaSeries account:
- Go to the Your subscriptions page (left-hand menu of My account, "External services" section, or "Your platforms" in the gear menu).
- On the Netflix tile, tick "I'm a subscriber".
- Click "Manage its synchronization Netflix".
The "Netflix synchronization" window then opens:
- On Chrome or Firefox, click "Access the synchronization extension" and install the BetaSeries extension for your browser.
- On other browsers, fill in the content of the NetflixId and SecureNetflixId cookies from your Netflix session (the "Read the tutorial" link in the window explains how to get them), then click "Connect".
You will then be able to choose the Netflix profile to sync with your BetaSeries account. The linked profile is shown in the same window, with a "Disconnect" button to stop the sync.
Automatically sync the episodes and movies you've watched
During the sync, the episodes you have watched on Netflix will then be marked as watched on BetaSeries as well. If you have started a new show, it will automatically be added to your BetaSeries account. The movies you have watched on Netflix will also be added to your BetaSeries account, whether or not you had already added these movies to your watchlist.
Syncing shows and episodes will not change your list of shows on BetaSeries. Your archived shows will stay archived, and if you are further along in a show on BetaSeries than on Netflix, the episodes will not be removed from your account either.
